Work has been underway on a new and expanded edition since 2004. Although the principles and practices in Swimming Pool Water will not change significantly, the new edition will have any necessary revisions, as well as comprehensive guidelines on non-conventional pools – spas, hotel, hydrotherapy and domestic pools etc. There will also be a new chapter on environment and conservation issues in pool design and operation. The new edition should be published early in 2008.
