International Membership

International membership is a new level of PWTAG membership aimed at organisations across the world who share PWTAG’s aims and goals. The objective is to provide a collaborative space to share best practice and insight across the treatment of pool water.

Initially organisations which are known to PWTAG Council members will be invited to join us in a collaborative approach to sharing the science, knowledge, expertise and best practices. They will be nationally focussed organisations with a concern in pool water issues which cover water in swimming and spa pools whether under public or private ownership and management. The intention is share information which includes research; guidelines and standards; product innovation; industry development; operational practices as well as the requirements of regulatory authorities particularly health and environment.

This level of membership is free.

Danske Svømmebade

Danske Svømmebade

Danske Svømmebade is a nationwide interest organisation that works strategically with a broad field of technical, operational and political tasks within the swimming pool industry.

We want to exert influence on applicable norms, standards and guidelines. In addition, we act as a link and knowledge center for the industry’s many different players by disseminating knowledge that promotes good operation, adaptation and development of Danish swimming pools.

The interest organisation was founded in 1975 under the name Dansk Svømmedsteknisk Forening, but became Danske Svømmebade in October 2020 after two extraordinary general meetings.
