Chilterns Lifestyle Centre swimmers suffer ‘severe breathing difficulties’ at public pool

Investigations are being carried out at a leisure centre after members of the public reported ‘severe breathing difficulties’ after using the swimming pool.

In a statement online Amersham Swimming Club said all of their training sessions have been suspended at the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre until the ‘air processing system can be repaired’.

It comes after swimming pool users have reportedly suffered with breathing difficulties and skin irritation during the summer holidays.

Everyone Active has reassured residents that daily checks and readings are being carried out in line with national guidelines.
